Limonite by Acquerelli della Magna is a light natural ochre. It has a warm and semi-opaque tone, suitable for softening the bright tones of landscapes and skin tones.

Limonite is a mineral composed of hydrated iron oxide. In its earthy form it is commonly known as ochre. It is the first pigment used by man, found in cave structures and in Neolithic pictograms. It is the yellow of the four-color palette of Apelles and Ancient Greece and a pillar of the history of color up to the present day.
